The Role

Oxfam in Tanzania is looking for a Finance Assistant who will be responsible for smoothing accounts operations in the Humanitarian Programme.

The Person

To be successful in this role, you will have the following;

  • A Degree in a finance/accounting discipline
  • At least one year related experience working in a busy environment.
  • Ability to demonstrate an openness and willingness to learn about the application of gender/gender mainstreaming, women’s rights, and diversity for all aspects of development work.
  • Good interpersonal and communications skills
  • Ability to work well with diverse teams and under pressure, often managing multiple requests and liaising with staff at different levels
  • Commitment to Oxfam’s safeguarding policies to ensure all people who come who come into contact with Oxfam are as safe as possible
