Mwanza Urban Water and Sanitation Authority (MWAUWASA) is one of the competitively best Authorities in the Tanzanian water and sanitation sector supplying clean and safe water and providing efficient sanitation services for the residents of Mwanza City and other designated areas. RECORDS MANAGEMENT ASSISTANT II (1 POST)
Appointing Authority: Managing Director
Reporting to: Head of Administration
Subordinates: O ce Assistants
Terms of employment: Contract of Unspecified Period of Time
Salary Scale: MWAUWASA’s Salary Scale of MAS 3
Required minimum qualifications:
Holder of Form IV/VI National Examination Certificate with a Certificate in Records Management from a recognized institution; and working experience of at least two (2) years in the records management. Must be ICT literate with interpersonal communication skills.
Duties and responsibilities:
Employee’s duties includes but not limited to the following: –
- In-charge of all dispatches, flimsy files and franking machines;
- Open and register incoming and outgoing letters;
- Retrieve and distribute files, documents, letters to scheduled officers;
- File correspondences in appropriate files and cross referencing
- Carry out daily marking; and
- Perform any other duties related to the above as assigned by supervisors.
